All income is used for the care of the animals. These proceeds make it possible to shelter new neglected or confiscated wild animals which cannot return to nature. We give them a home for the rest of their lives and provide the appropriate care: healthy nutrition, customized accommodation, medical care and lots of attention.

Opening Hours

De Zonnegloed is open for half-day visits.

Animal welfare is one of the most important elements here at De Zonnegloed. To give our animals the necessary rest during the day, we work with dayparts, we close the sanctuary for an hour during lunch time and the number of visitors per daypart is limited.

It is therefore necessary and compulsory to book your visit to our centre in advance via the website.
